There are some great quotes there — I’m excited! Are you?
British singer Billy Bragg joined us for a Brave New Conversation about his music and his activism. The episode will be released soon, but in the meantime Billy is continuing to do what he does best: take action! He’s withholding his taxes in protest of the excessive bonuses (£1.5 billion!) Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) will give its bankers — after being given billions of taxpayer money in bail outs!
Now Billy needs your help. He’s created a Facebook group, NoBonus4RBS, to get the word out. Here’s Billy in his own words explaining why you should help:

When you think of politically-minded Christian activists, do words like Conservative and right-wing come to mind?
With his rock-star status, long-time support of Move On and his very public faith, musician Moby shatters those preconceived notions.
On January 25th, the Grammy-winning musician joins us in our studio to discuss his politics, his music, the social issues that matter to him and more with Brave New Foundation associate producer Crystal Page.

Shepard Fairey visits our studio again for a Brave New Conversation with his personal inspiration, guerrilla poster artist Robbie Conal.
If you’re an Angeleno, then you’ve probably encountered Robbie Conal’s posters, which he and his volunteer guerrilla army have put up here and across the country since 1986.
His work artfully skewers politicians, global capitalists, bureaucrats, televangelists and so-called “life-style” pundits — and he’ll be in our studios to tell us all about it.
You can check out his work at Robbie Conal’s Art Attack.
What would you like to hear Shepard and Robbie talk about? Get your questions for Robbie in the comments below and we’ll have Shepard ask during the live taping!

Wall Street. Greed. Corruption. With such themes dominating the headlines in these troubled economic times, the sequel to Oliver Stone’s classic, Wall Street, couldn’t be more timely.
On January 18th, the controversial director of such hits as Platoon, Natural Born Killers, JFK, Nixon and W will join us in our studio to talk about his long-awaited sequel, today’s ongoing financial crisis and who knows what else!
Oliver Stone has never shied away from controversy. The prickly New Yorker has been airing America’s dirty laundry since the early 1970s. Along the way, he’s won four Golden Globes, three Oscars and has forever changed the way we view domestic politics and the war in Vietnam.
Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps opens in April 2010.
Questions for Oliver? Of course you have questions for him — he’s Oliver Stone! What would you like to hear him talk about — film, politics, greed, war? Let us know in the comments below and we’ll ask him in the Conversation on Jan. 18th.
